It follows (i) the metric system of length measurement and (ii) first-angle method of orthographic projection. However, the third-angle projection method has not been completely ignored. The chapter on Engine Parts are divided in two separate chapters such as (1) Steam Engine Parts and (2) Internal Combustion (I.C.) Engine Parts.
