Prof. Rakesh Kumar is a PhD holder from the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi since 1990. Subsequently, he pursued his post-doctorate from the University of Barcelona, Spain and Technical University of New Lisbon, Portuguese. Currently, he holds a position of Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi. He has started his teaching career from Kirori Mal College where he taught from 1990 to 2015. He has published more than 50 publications in reputed national and international journals till date. He has chaired/co-chaired sessions and also delivered several lectures in national as well as international conferences held in India and abroad. He is the author of eight books for graduate and postgraduate levels that are published by various international and national publishing houses. He has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate student since 1990 and has a research experience of almost 30 years.
