Principles Of Pharmacology | By H L Sharma & K K Sharma | Paras Medical Publication | 4th Edition 2024 ( English Medium ).
Get the Bold Edge! Reviews: The textbook “Principles of Pharmacology” is a good and up-to-date book which interests and guides students with a lucid and well-organised presentation that is easy to understand and remember, with emphasis on the understanding of the concepts rather than a statement of facts. Clear and apt illustrations make complex topics easy to understand. It emphasizes the learning objectives as laid down in the syllabus and is original in its approach and presentation. The authors have been successful in their endeavour and the book does preserve the sinus rhythm of the reader! -Indian Journal of Pharmacology. “This is one of the very first textbooks written and produced in India, which may have not only local but significant international appeal. Admirably, the authors have followed a method of teaching rather than a method of instruction. The writing style is engaging, simple, reader friendly and captivating. With colourful and schematic illustrations, and frequent anecdotes, the text is riveting. Overall, it is an excellent treatise in every sense.” -Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology & Therapeutics, USA.
“It is a well written, well-illustrated book which, to a great extent, will help UGs not only in understanding the complexities of drug activities in our body, but also in generating interest in the subject. PGs will also find it useful. Few textbooks on pharmacology have dealt with the core issues as are described in a lucid manner in this book.” -The National Medical Journal of India.

Highlights of the Book
Enriched by adding all recently approved medications.
Updated with recent guidelines in various diseases like TB and malaria.
Monoclonal anti-bodies added to enhance pharmacology.
Comprehensive textbook having 89 chapters.
A completely new foundational guide & an invaluable resource in pharmacology.
