The more basic physics and electrical theory which was in previous editions dispersed throughout the book has been updated and brought together in the first chapter with the inclusion of quantum physics. The remainder of the book has been thoroughly reorganized and revised. There is also a new chapter on cold therapy and a new section on interferential therapy which is not yet included in the syllabus of the Societys membership exam. This edition also incorporates it glossary.
